I am currently working on my first one-man show, "BlerdMan: Across the BlerdVerse". This show is a personal coming of age story inspired by my own life that dives deep into the unique experiences of growing up a Black nerd, blending humor, introspection, and pop culture references. The narrative explores the intersection of my African-American identity, African-American History and pop culture fandom, allowing for a rich exploration of themes such as belonging, representation, and the complexities of being a Blerd in a multifaceted world.

The show weaves together personal anecdotes and relatable moments, highlighting the joys and challenges that come with embracing both nerd culture and African American heritage. Through various characters and scenarios, it invites the audience to reflect on their own experiences—revealing how humor can serve as a bridge in discussions about race, culture, and individuality.

As BlerdMan journeys across the "BlerdVerse," the show touches upon significant elements of pop culture, from comic books and video games to movies and conventions, while also traversing the complexities of African American History from Nat Turner’s Revolt to present day resistance, making it a celebration of the diverse community that often goes overlooked. Ultimately, "BlerdMan: Across the BlerdVerse" aims to entertain while fostering understanding and connection in a world that thrives on differences yet yearns for unity.
